THE ONLY WAY TO TRUE FREEDOM

 

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free 

                   -John 8:32

 The Bible is where your safety is, so you should never stop studying it. The moment you understand what it is talking about, you will be truly free. Free from the devil, sin and the world. A man of God may have the grace to deliver you at an instance, but the affliction will come back again if you don’t know and understand the truth for yourself.  This is because if the devil sets your test, all the options will be wrong. You can only escape if you know the correct answer.

 

When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, "I will return to my house from which I came." And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.

The truth is not an idea, it is a person. The truth is Jesus. He is the word of God that became flesh and lived among us while we beheld His Glory as of the only begotten son of God. (John 1:14)

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

                                 -  John 14 : 6

 This truth can be revealed to you as you get exposed to the word of God. Take the time to study the word and seek help whenever you need it by asking the Holy Spirit to help you understand. Then ask someone you know can help shed more light on what you read. This person can be your pastor or one of the brethren in the church. Make the following confession today and receive grace for a total turn around in your life in Jesus' name.

I love and receive the truth today. I reject ignorance and open my heart for the Word of God to light up my life. I also receive grace to understand as I read the word in Jesus name. I experience transformation in my life as the word renews my mind. Amen.
