YOU ARE DIVINELY PROTECTED

By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.

                                      -   Exodus 13:21

When Israel left Egypt, they proceeded into the wilderness. The pillar of cloud gave them direction and prevented the scorching heat of the desert sun from reaching them. And at night, when the temperature drops very low and it becomes freezing cold, a pillar of fire is there to give them light and warmth. It didn’t stop there. One other thing in the package they enjoyed was the free daily miracle food supply called Mana.

This is God's strategy for provision, protection, and direction for His children. Isn't it amazing to consistently have God's tangible presence every day and every time?

But that's exactly what you have that you probably are not aware of, just as the children of Israel had all those and yet murmured against God repeatedly all through their journey. They were not aware of what was obvious because they had become too familiar with God's presence to despise it.

You don't have to be like them. Take a look around you and see God's constant presence through His protection, provisions, and leading. You didn't come this far on your strength. God has been caring for you through the pillar of cloud and fire. Even though many times you may not feel like God is around, you can be sure He's got your back. Trust Him!

In fact, He expects you to believe and trust Him with all your plans, because he is on the journey of your life with you. One thing however is that He wants you to acknowledge His presence by walking in faith and trusting Him with all that concerns you. The way to do this is by having constant communication and fellowship with Him in prayers and the study of His Word.

The Bible says...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

                                           - Proverbs 3:5-6

Talk to God about everything. Be it a big or small matter, pleasant or unpleasant, He listens and cares about all you are going through and He is the very present help in the time of need.

Start your day with the following confession in Jeremiah 20:11:

“The LORD is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten.” In Jesus name, Amen.
