GOD WILL NEVER FAIL ON HIS PROMISES
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
The fulfillment of God's word is certain. According to the Bible, His word will not return to Him void. That is, whatever He says will come to pass, regardless of who refuses to believe. However, those who choose not to believe will undoubtedly miss out on the blessings, whereas those who dare to believe will benefit from the same as they connect by faith, believing that it will come to pass in their lives.
The truth is that God's word is like a fast-moving train. It would not pause for anything until it arrived at its destination. Indeed, the Bible describes it in this way.
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
It was critical for Mary to believe God when He told her she was going to give birth to Jesus. If she had not believed, Jesus would have been born by another person. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of God never changing his divine agenda, but rather changing the characters He was using who didn't comply with his directives. In this category, we have Eli the priest and King Saul. Eli lost the promise of an everlasting priesthood to Samuel, and King Saul lost the throne to David.
Meditate this day on all the promises you know that you have revived from God and keep trusted Him as you also keep doing all you have to do about them. Take steps of faith as you are inspired by the Holy Spirit and all the promises will without doubt become yours because God will always honour His word.
I pray that as you cling to God's word, you will see the fulfillment of what it says to you. In Jesus' name, may you return with a testimony of fulfillment and laughter.
