HOW TO TRAIN YOUR BRAIN CHILD

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

- Proverbs 22:6

The scripture above is often used when teaching or counseling about child upbringing in the way of the Lord. But I believe that it has another awesome application which I will share in this post.

You see, it doesn't matter whether you are male or female. We all have a womb where the conception of great ideas and visions happen. It is the place where our dreams live before they are delivered into this realm of physical realities. This “womb” is our mind.

The challenge is, most people turn into another version of themselves once their dreams become realities and their status in the society begin to change. But success is not sinister and money shouldn’t necessarily make a monster of people who originally look humble and cultured.

The problem is that they fail to train their vision and dreams to be subject to the law of God before it became true. The way to do this is to acknowledge God right from the conception of your ideas and embed the principles in his word in the way you go about achieving your dreams. If you do this, your focus and purpose will remain the same no matter how much success comes your way in the future. That "brain child" of yours will not run you crazy and make you rebel against the way of God. It will not depart from God's way to serve another selfish and unrighteous purpose.

The scripture below is an example of a man whose dream excluded God and when the success came, it brought his destruction.

And he told them this parable: The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’
Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.
But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?
This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.

- Luke 12:  16 - 21

So here, the scripture is teaching that, once you see the delivery of the dreams you conceive like a newborn baby, it is important for you to have the right culture around that vision at the very beginning if you don't want it get out of hand such that what is supposed to be a blessing turns around to become a snare and a pain.

Make your decisions and establish your strategy before you get to the battle; This is the same as saying it's important for you to first develop the mind set and get the right orientation  before the challenge shows up. That way you will be able to keep your cool and stick to your war strategy. But if you have to just begin to decide on the battlefield, you suddenly discover that you fall for the temptation to take the line of least resistance because you haven't developed the character,  strategy, mindset and skills set necessary for winning, beforehand.

So be the person of your dream by developing the virtues that it demands before it happens. Get the word of God into you now while you await your miracle, success, babies, Job, marriage or whatever greatness you are dreaming and trusting God for. The Word will give you the mindset that will help you sustain your victories and successes in a manner that they will be a true blessing to you.

Otherwise, you will be a mismatch and the lack of character will make you lose your new estate.

Make this confession:
I am full God’s wisdom so I am able to manage great success without being corrupted. Money is not my master. I master and control money to serve my divine purpose. My mind is subject to the law of God therefore my thoughts, dreams and visions are all aligned with God’s will and my increase is truly a blessing to me in Jesus name.
